Flower Subscription Agreement

By purchasing a flower subscription from Fern Forest Flowers, for yourself or as a gift, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Payment

I understand that once I pay for my membership, I have secured my place in the subscription for the respective growing season. There are no refunds, either full or partial, for cancellation of my subscription once purchased.

I may choose to find an alternative person to buy the rest of my shares, and the share ownership will be transferred to the alternate person. The alternate person will pay me directly. I understand that I am responsible for informing Fern Forest Flower if such a transfer occurs.

Splitting Shares

I may coordinate the splitting of my flower subscription with another individual. I understand that splitting shares is allowed but that Fern Forest Flowers does not facilitate these arrangements, and does not coordinate special payment on split shares. I will make all arrangements myself for collecting payment from the individual with whom I am splitting my share.

Start Dates

I understand that the start date of my flower subscription is flexible, based on seasonal conditions and product availability. I am aware that Fern Forest Flowers will communicate via email to inform members of updates and the official start date. I understand that it is my responsibility to contact Fern Forest Flowers if I am not receiving notifications near the projected subscription start date.

Picking up my Share

I understand that I will pick up my share from Fern Forest Flowers each week of my subscription from the designated pick up location. If I am out of town or unable to pick up my subscription for any reason, I understand that it is my responsibility to find a substitute to collect my share. I understand that if my share is not picked up on the designated day, within the designated time, I forfeit that share and that it will be donated at the discretion of Fern Forest Flowers. I will not receive credit or a refund for any shares that I do not pick up. Pick up times and location are set for the season. 

Sharing the Risk

I agree that by purchasing a subscription I understand that I share in both the bounty and the risks of flower farming. I understand that the risks include poor harvests due to unfavorable weather or pests, or the total loss of all crops due to a natural disaster such as fire, flood, or drought. In the event of crop failure, I understand that I may not receive all the bouquets/arrangements in my subscription.

Emergencies

I understand that I am working with a small business and that personal and health emergencies can occur. In the even that Fern Forest Flowers is dealing with a personal or health emergency they will do their best to fulfill order but I understand that there may be delays in when I will receive my order/subscription.

Communication

I understand that email is how Fern Forest Flowers communicates updates and changes.

Fern Forest Flowers is not responsible for miscommunications due to their e-mails going to my Spam folder or Promotions tab. I will notify the farm immediately if I do not receive an e-mail receipt of my payment or my subscription emails.
